Strings can be strung either through the back of the body, or Jimmy Page style top-loaded through the rear of the bridge, which reduces the tension slightly for easier string-bending . Includes 4 mounting screws, Allen wrench

Jimmy Page’s iconic 1959 Fender Telecaster, famously modified with a psychedelic “Dragon” paint job, featured a rare top-loading bridge. Unlike standard Telecasters, where strings pass through the back of the body, a top-loader allows strings to anchor directly to the back of the bridge plate, resulting in lower string tension and easier bending.The Jimmy Page top-loading setup is directly responsible for the buttery, slinky feel and aggressive bends on classic Led Zeppelin tracks like “Stairway to Heaven”. Fender recreated this historic instrument as the Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster. This signature model features a dual-loader bridge, allowing you to switch between a traditional string-through setup or the signature top-load feel.
